Our fishery is 100% renewable. This pelagic fish, which swims in schools in the open ocean, is typically 45 cm (18 inches) long and can grow up to 70 cm (28 inches). Since Chile began fishing in 1950, the majority of the world’s catch has been taken by Chilean vessels, predominantly within its EEZ. We maintain sustainable production and are constantly innovating to meet the highest international environmental standards.
